Hello everyone! This forum is obviously for those who love animals and who feel good discussing the subject with others. Before posting, be sure to look over the general forum rules that will lead to banishment if the violations are severe enough:
1. Show respect for other members and be kind- This means that you are not to direct rude or indecent comments towards other members. If someone has a different opinion from your, LET IT BE and debate about it from a scientific perspective. The same goes for if someone has a separate argument; the purpose of the forum is to debate about animals scientifically and kindly. We are here to establish a strong animal-loving community, and antagonism towards others will not be tolerated!
2. Fighting- Going along with rule #1, NO FIGHTING! This means no intense and prolonged flaming. Scientific debates and arguments are fine (as that is fundamentally why we are here), but anything intended to offend another member or start an all-out off-topic war is suspension material. Fighting disrupts not only the enjoyment of the victim(s), but also for those who simply want to engage in interesting zoological discussion with little issues.
3. Off-topic discussion- It is fine to make a joke here and there in an irrelevant thread, but prolonged irrelevant, spammy, off-topic discussion is not OK. This is what the General Discussion sub-forum is for (and most specifically, the one intended for spammy, nonsensical talk). Stay on topic!
4. Trolling- Trolls will be deliberately banned. Trolling behavior is defined as that 1. intended to piss off others, 2. annoy others, 3.. drift far off-topic INTENTIONALLY, and 4. spamming.
I am not going to be very strict, but intense disregard for these guidelines WILL result in consequences. Just go and have fun!
